uummm that's eerr.. someone else's coffee and I'm holding it for them....
Gaile: I meant the other ones we were gonna introduce in Hard mode

Ben: Ya I'm afraid I think it's going to take another month
Gaile: But that's what you said last month
Ben: Umm ya there were some delays because we need to design mini-pets because the players would be really upset....

Guardian of the Light! LOL! That's what I call a piece of fan wisdom!

Now a piece of fan speculation.

They're probably swamped with work because of GW:EN and all, and work tends to accumulate under such circumstances.

But unless they're still thinking about what to do for the PVE only skills, they should be able to come up with a clear, simple and differentiated statement for Gaile, because the language used so far has been a bit dense...

Anyway, I also tend to be 'dense' myself with my communication, especially when tiredness or stress clouds objectivity... so let's just wait and see...

EotN: Non-profession specific skills; method of acquisition unknown at the moment.

Yes, that would be a good inference from Gaile's latest statement, which I would agree and accept in a heartbeat.

But there has been no direct reference of 'Sunspear' skills that are 'profession-specific' coming in June, which would've been a better indication under the context of this thread.

Unless there's reference of that somewhere that I don't know about and would kindly ask for someone to point me to the right direction.

Fair enough, they've not specifically called them Sunspear skills lately, but I think it's safe to assume they're not working on 2 batches of PvE skills to be introduced in the near future (EotN aside)

Thanks.

I understand that there was a context into the statement - making it reasonable not to indicate all the connections explicitly.

But at a given moment not everyone is able (others don't even want) to be aware of the correct information, and people might miss the context.

I think that in places such as these, where old and new meet and words are the only point of contact, clearer information would benefit understanding; highlighting the context of a question and not just based on implicit knowledge.

I know that this is not easy to do ALL the time, and that's why is so fortunate to have users such as eremos to give a helping hand and such a considerate Community Relations Manager and Team.

Call me crazy, but I think most would have thought the Mesmer buff would happen when the Mesmer skills are changed.

Why would they buff mesmers in one Campaign with a skill (or skills) related to a title rather than looking at the core mesmer?

I see farming potential with PvE only skills (8 skills in bar just PvE only skills). Unless they limited them somehow or are so balanced that those skills are not always superior compared to normal ones.

I'm pretty sure it was said that the mesmer buffing won't be related to the sunspear skills...not sure, though.

Also, an extra 2 months to balance 1 skill for each profession? these must be some interesting skills.
